Patrick Houbert, PhD in Private Law, is registered as a lawyer in France and Luxemburg (Avocat à la Cour). He started his career in 2001 with André-Plantavin-Lafran, a Law Firm renowned for its specialization in Intellectual Property Law in Marseilles.
From 2006 to 2013, he worked as Legal and Compliance Director in the financial sector in Luxemburg, where he developed his skills in Corporate Law & finance and International Taxation.
Since 2014, Patrick is daily involved in complex international operations related to New Technologies and Intellectual Property in the Software and Digital TV industry. Patrick also specializes in corporate and M&A as well as in investment vehicles in Mauritius, his country of origin. He obtained his PhD in Law by writing a thesis on “The Normative instruments of Off-Shore Investments in Mauritius” in 2010 (Aix-en-Provence Law Faculty).
